Q: What is your photography style?
A: My style is best described as documentary, with a focus on candid and authentic emotions. I believe in capturing the genuine beauty and connections in people and their stories.
Q: Where are you based, and do you travel for events?
A: I am based in the Pacific Northwest, Vancouver WA to be specific, and love to capture the beauty of this region. However, I'm always excited to travel for events. Feel free to inquire about destination photography services.
Q: What does the booking process for weddings look like?
A: For wedding bookings, we start with a consultation to understand your needs and vision. Once we determine the details and availability, I’ll provide you with a contract and require a nonrefundable retainer to secure your date. In the months leading up to your wedding, we can discuss in greater detail such as shot lists, timelines, etc!
Q: How long does it take to receive the final photos?
A: The turnaround time for receiving your final gallery can vary depending on the type of session and length of coverage. For photo sessions, it is typically 3-4 weeks. For weddings, it can range between 6-8 weeks and maybe more during busier seasons. After your sneak peeks are finished and I’ve had a chance to comb through all your photos, I will give you a more accurate date for your gallery to be finished, and if anything happens during that time and I need an extension, I will let you know as soon as possible.
Q: Do you provide RAW images?
A: Nope! RAW images are not an accurate representation of my work, and at this time, I do not release RAW’s under any circumstance.
Q: Can we request specific shots or styles for our session/wedding?
A: Yes, you can make specific requests. I encourage open communication and collaboration to ensure your photography reflects your unique vision and preferences.
